Game-Based Learning Educaplay Elementary Science ID-8930

This project creates an educational game reinforcing student learning about trees, tree characteristics, and basic scientific vocabulary. Built in Educaplay using the Frogger template, it supports comprehension through repeated exposure to key concepts from earlier videos and readings.

Audience: Elementary learners; also appropriate for teachers exploring interactive learning tools.

Learning Objective

You will correctly answer all ten science questions about trees, including identifying tree types, understanding what trees need to grow, naming scientific terms, and recognizing basic ecological concepts.

How It Works
  • Each question appears in the upper-left corner of the screen.
  • Players choose from three multiple-choice options.
  • Correct answers move the frog safely to the next log.
  • Incorrect answers cause the frog to fall into the water; the player loses one life.
  • Ten questions, six lives, thirty seconds per question.
  • Game ends when all questions are completed or all lives are lost.
  • Score based on accuracy and completion time.

The format combines recall, repetition, and immediate feedback — movement on screen keeps students focused and adds fun to academic content.
